Thanks for commenting on my photos too! WOW. I have wanted to capture a rainbow for quite a while, but very difficult to find right moment. Congradulations on finding this shot. Only slight recommendation on this would be to deepen the shadows, lowering the highlights, since the houses white looks slightly over exposed, maybe it would richen and bring out the rainbow colors out still wihout washing it out. I don't know, just an idea. I don't like to give quick "Good shots" comments, afterall, I need help improving my skills and that doesn't help me either! Look forward to more pics. I try to visit everyone's site that comments, so if you ever post another comment, I will be sure to run by here again. Enjoy Aussie land! Sheldon- from Texas.

Thank you for your recommendations. I don't know if one should post-process a photograph. I have to admit that it looks much better if edited with Photoshop, but here I just posted the original photo. I am going to post an edited version of a rainbow where the colours look much better. By the way: Although I'd like to be, I am not an Aussie ;-) But that's no problem ;-) Martin - from Austria.
Whooppps! Austria sorry. Big difference. I am in texas, but lived in Germany for 7 years. I think I went to austria before... I can't remember everything since I was younger. Wish you well. There is so much beauty to photograph in the european area. Sometimes it gets discouraging in Houston, since their is very little natural beauty, so you have more or less focus on street shots, and potraits, not with amazing landscaps. Sigh... I miss Tennessee, they had a lot of natural beauty that it was almost too easy! Thanks for visiting again, I look foward to stay in touch...

No problem, Austria is so small you wouldn't even notice it on the globe ;-) Although I've never been to the States I imagine a wealth of photographic opportunities...Austria is very diverse, you have the alps and great mountain ranges but also flat land, rural areas but on the other hand, especially if you got to the capital(Vienna) there is a lot of urbanity and a completely different life-style. thanks for visiting again!
